Wei is a very minor character in the series Cardcaptor Sakura. He does not appear in the manga at all. In the anime, he comes to Tomoeda with Syaoran to be Syaoran's housekeeper and guardian. He is elderly, maybe about 50 years old, and possesses no magic. Obviously he is trusted very much by the Li family, as he is Syaoran's keeper. He addresses Syaoran and Meiling by 'Shaoran-sama' and 'Meiling-sama', which indicates a great deal of respect. However, he uses their first names in these greetings, which means that they are also very good friends of his. He helped train both of them in the martial arts when they were younger, and he always has a hand to lend them. He looks very much like a butler, with neat gray hair and round-rimmed glasses. Wei lives with Syaoran and Meiling in the anime, whereas in the manga, Syaoran lives alone. Wang Wei's voice actor is Kiyokawa Motomu.
