Kinomoto Nadeshiko is another one of the lesser characters in Cardcaptor Sakura. She was born on May 20, and was 27 years old when she died. She had long, wavy dark gray hair, and did part-time modelling because she was very pretty. She was an only child, born to a rich family. Her maiden name was Amamiya before she married Kinomoto Fujitaka, and she was Daidouji Sonomi's younger cousin. Sonomi used to spoil Nadeshiko when they were young, and had vowed to protect her, but she was powerless to stop Nadeshiko's marriage. Because of this, Sonomi used to fight with Fujitaka, but because Nadeshiko looked so happy, Sonomi knew she couldn't do anything. Nadeshiko was a bit of an airhead, and was quite forgetful, but she was sweet, with a kind nature towards animals and children. She had a bit of a sweet tooth, and would fall asleep in class, but everyone always forgave her in the end. She was only 16 when she married, but she stayed with Fujitaka for a whole 11 years before she died from an illness (which was never specified) when Sakura was three. She still comes back to visit the Kinomoto family in spirit form, but Touya and Sakura are the only ones that can see her. She used to play the piano, and her musical ability was passed onto Touya. Only her father is still living, and although he gave her a hard time when she married so young, he still loved her, and keeps in touch with the Kinomoto family. Nadeshiko was a nice person, a loving mother, and a loyal wife, and is still remembered in select parts of the series and manga. Her voice actor is Minaguchi Yuko.
